About The Position

This is a Locums Tenens position for a Urologist in Paducah, KY. The role involves providing inpatient and outpatient coverage, including 24-hour call, 7-10 days per month. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. The patient demographics are adult, with an average daily volume of 6-12 patients per day. The case mix includes General Urology, ESWL, Advanced Endoscopic Techniques, and Ureteroscopy. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system and has support staff available, including 2 APRNs. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available. The credentialing timeline is 90 days.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (Urology)
• Active KY License or Universal License (IMLC)
• Active DEA Certification
• Hospital Privileges Required
• General Urology
• ESWL
• Advanced Endoscopic Techniques
• Ureteroscopy
• Laser Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage for urology inpatient consults and emergencies
• Perform general urology procedures including ESWL on Tuesdays
• Conduct advanced endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy

• Manage inpatient urological cases with potential outpatient procedures
