About The Position

Seeking a Urologist for a Locum Tenens position in Olympia, WA. This role involves outpatient service setting with supplemental coverage needed from April 1, 2026, ongoing. The position includes clinical duties and call responsibilities, with a schedule of 10-12 days per month. There is an option for full-time employment starting June 8, with clinic hours of 3 days/week (7:30a-4p) and OR block time of 2 days/week. The call schedule is 24-hour beeper call, 3-4 days per month for full-time coverage, with a 25-30 minute response time and a 1:2 call ratio. The patient demographic is adults, with a patient volume of 3-16 per day in clinic, and 24 for full-time clinic coverage. Phone consults are 5-6, and admissions are 2-3. Rounding is included. The practice has 1 physician, supported by 3 APPs, 2 RNs, 8 MAs, and 5 office staff. Procedures include General Urology, UDS Testing, Laparoscopic & robotic surgeries, Ureteroscopy, Prostatectomy, Renal and bladder u/s, TRUS, Fusion, Bladder biopsies, Incontinence procedures, and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL). The department has 25 beds and the facility is Trauma Level IV. Epic is the EMR system used. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available.

Requirements

• Active WA License or IMLC
• Board Certified (BC)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting.
• Participate in 24-hour beeper call.
• Perform general urology procedures.
• Conduct UDS Testing.
• Perform laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
• Perform ureteroscopy and prostatectomy.
• Conduct renal and bladder ultrasounds.
• Perform TRUS, Fusion, and bladder biopsies.
• Perform incontinence procedures.
• Perform Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL).
• Admit patients.
• Round on patients.
