About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens Physician position in Urology, located in Festus, MO. The role is in an outpatient setting and covers clinical services only. The coverage period is ASAP – Ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p, for 2 weeks per month over a 6-month period. The reason for coverage is a vacancy due to a long-term permanent search. The facility uses the Epic EMR system. Hospital privileges are required. The position involves providing comprehensive urology care in an outpatient clinic, performing procedures such as endoscopy and biopsies, managing patient schedules, coordinating with support staff, and documenting patient encounters.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
• Licensed in MO or IMLC
• BLS certification
• Fellowship required
• General Urology procedures
• Advanced endoscopic techniques
• Ureteroscopy
• TRUS biopsies

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urology care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform outpatient urological procedures including endoscopy and biopsies.
• Manage patient schedules and cover clinic 2 weeks per month.
• Coordinate with support staff for patient flow and procedure scheduling.
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
