About The Position

HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join a busy, well-established multi-specialty physician group in the Sacramento area. This partnership-track opportunity offers a strong built-in referral network, access to robotic technology, competitive compensation, and the ability to build a long-term practice within a collaborative physician-led environment. New graduates and experienced Urologists are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time employed position with a Monday through Friday schedule, approximately 30 patient-contact hours per week. The practice is an established and busy General Urology practice with a strong built-in referral network within a large multi-specialty group. There is no routine Urology call schedule, but call coverage for other Urologists is needed as required. The current EMR is MEDITECH, with a transition to Epic planned for 2027. This is a partnership/shareholder-track opportunity within a collaborative practice environment with strong hospital support. The clinical opportunity involves a comprehensive General Urology practice where the physician will diagnose and treat a broad range of genitourinary conditions, providing office-based and surgical urologic care. Access to robotic surgical technology is available, with the opportunity to perform robotic procedures. Candidates with robotic surgery and urologic oncology experience are strongly preferred. The role involves collaborating with primary care physicians, specialists, and hospital-based providers, with the opportunity to develop a high-volume, long-term practice within an established referral network.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Completion of an accredited Urology residency
  • California medical license or ability to obtain
  • Strong general Urology skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Robotic surgery and urologic oncology experience preferred
