Requirements

• Physician Assistant: P.A. degree from an accredited school.
• Physician Assistant: Current Physician Assistant Licensure in New York State
• Physician Assistant: Graduate of an Accredited P.A. Program
• Physician Assistant: Current BLS Certification required
• Physician Assistant: Board Certification required.
• Physician Assistant: DEA registration valid and unrestricted
• Nurse Practitioner: Masters in Nursing Required / Nurse Practitioner
• Nurse Practitioner: NYS Nurse Practitioner License- with Prescriptive Privileges
• Nurse Practitioner: DEA registration valid and unrestricted
• Nurse Practitioner: BLS certification required
• Nurse Practitioner: ANCC Board Certification Advanced Practice

Nice To Haves

• Physician Assistant: Current ACLS Certification preferred
• Nurse Practitioner: ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating diseases or disorders of the genitourinary (GU) tract.
• Assisting at surgery for urological disease or disorders for patients of the Garnet Health Doctors.
• Responsible for care and treatment for patients in our clinics, hospitals, and facilities.
• Works with an interdisciplinary team of primary caregivers and administrative support staff to perform duties while displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of the Garnet Health Doctors, supporting our mission, vision, and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients.
