About The Position

PawDoc Urgent Care and Surgery Dental Center is opening a brand-new center in Tacoma, Washington in January 2027. This center will bridge the gap between general practice and emergency/overnight care, offering non-life-threatening urgent care for pets in need. This role is ideal for emergency veterinarians ready to step away from the intensity of overnight or high-acuity ER shifts, experienced general practitioners eager to broaden their scope in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, or newer veterinarians seeking hands-on experience outside of general practice with growth opportunities in a supportive culture. Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Interest in urgent care, emergency medicine, or building clinical confidence
• Strong diagnostic skills with an adaptable, thoughtful approach to patient care
• Excellent communication with clients and support staff
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts
