North Jones Animal Hospital is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for a passionate and driven veterinarian to help lead the transformation. Our established general practice is being remodeled and reimagined into a modern, high-quality urgent care clinic, and we’re seeking a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced, case-diverse environment and wants to be part of building something special from the ground up. This is a unique chance to join a trusted community hospital as it evolves into a dedicated urgent care facility. You’ll play a key role in shaping medical protocols, workflow, and culture while providing timely, compassionate care for non-life-threatening urgent cases. Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree with eligibility for Mississippi licensure
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with confidence in urgent care or general practice medicine
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for building something new
• Interest in helping shape the future of a growing urgent care practice
• Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
• Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
• Proficient in general medicine and surgery
• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
• Active Veterinary State License
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services including diagnostics, treatment, and minor procedures
• Triage incoming cases and collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful situations
• Contribute to the development of protocols and standards as we grow into a full urgent care model
• Help foster a positive, team-oriented environment during this exciting transition
