About The Position

PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to their team. Requirements

  • Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Eligibility to attain NH Veterinary License
  • DEA Certification

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting
  • Internship training
  • Proficiency in soft tissue surgery, dental prophylaxis with extractions, spays, and neuters

Responsibilities

  • Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of dogs and cats, and treat surgically or medically
  • Administer vaccinations while guiding pet owners through preventive health care decisions
  • Perform COHAT with extractions, spays, neuters and routine soft tissue procedures (preferred)
  • Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
  • Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
