About The Position

Priority Pet Urgent Care is opening a new state-of-the-art clinic near Doctors Inlet in Fleming Island and is seeking veterinarians at all career stages to help launch the clinic. The clinic’s mission is to provide accessible, quality care and make pets a priority. It emphasizes teamwork, compassion, excellence, and a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development. Veterinarians will provide urgent care medicine in a new facility with state-of-the-art equipment, helping bridge the gap between primary and emergency care. Doctor partners have medical autonomy, with organizational support and business solutions aligned with their goals. The role offers flexible scheduling and no overnight shifts. The posting indicates that the position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited university.
Active veterinary state license.
At least 2 years of veterinary experience.
Current DEA license and USDA accreditation, or obtain them upon hire.
Compassionate leadership experience and willingness to manage a team and promote a positive clinic culture.
Effective communication skills and a drive to provide high-quality medicine and mentor other veterinarians.
