About The Position

The Animal House Pet Clinic in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is an AAHA Accredited practice dedicated to providing the highest standards of small animal medicine. We are seeking veterinary professionals who are passionate about patient advocacy and wish to join a culture of mutual respect and continuous improvement. This role offers flexibility with Urgent Care or a Hybrid GP/Urgent Care position, with schedules and caseloads tailored to individual interests and career goals. We are looking to expand our hours with evenings and weekend shifts for Urgent Care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
  • A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.

  • Interest in small-animal general practice in an AAHA-accredited hospital.
  • Interest in preventative care, comprehensive dentistry, surgery and advanced surgical procedures, senior pet care, dermatology.
  • Interest in urgent care and same-day sick visits.

  • Interest in orthopedic procedures, abdominal surgery, advanced nose and eye capabilities, and behavioral medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide urgent care for small animals.
  • Conduct general practice duties including preventative care, dentistry, surgery, senior pet care, and dermatology.
  • Handle pocket pets and avian medicine.
  • Perform orthopedic procedures, abdominal surgery, and advanced nose and eye procedures.
  • Engage in behavioral medicine.
  • Collaborate with a supportive, experienced technical team (CVTs and support staff).
  • Utilize advanced equipment including ABAXIS in-house laboratory, ultrasound imaging, digital radiography, electrocautery, blood transfusion capabilities, and echocardiography.
  • Work within a 5-DVM team under new leadership focused on teamwork, communication, and clinic culture.
  • Diagnose and treat a diverse small-animal caseload including dogs, cats, pocket pets, and birds.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Lead patient care from diagnosis to treatment.
  • Educate and empower clients by clearly communicating findings and treatment plans.
  • Contribute to a positive hospital culture.
