About The Position

Frontier Veterinary Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their supportive, responsive team in Greenfield, WI. This state-of-the-art, privately owned clinic serves the greater Milwaukee area and is looking for a team member passionate about providing exceptional patient and client care. The role involves practicing high-quality medicine, caring for a diverse caseload, performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and providing medical and surgical care. Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Veterinary School (Required)
• DVM License in Wisconsin (Required)
• Ability to reliably commute to our Greenfield location or relocate prior to starting

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of DVM experience (Preferred)
• Comfortable performing surgeries (Preferred)
• Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
• Confident decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
• Comfortable managing a diverse urgent care caseload, including emergency and surgical patients
• Ability to develop efficient, evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans
• Calm and adaptable when managing multiple patients and competing priorities
• Strong client communication and education skills
• Compassionate, collaborative, and team-oriented
• Ability to effectively lead, delegate, and support the veterinary team
• Committed to high-quality medicine and an exceptional patient and client experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients
• Perform diagnostics
• Develop treatment plans
• Provide medical and surgical care
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including abdominal exploratories (gastrotomy and enterotomy), ovariohysterectomies, cystotomies, splenectomies, gastropexies, and enucleations
• Ensure every patient and client receives an exceptional experience through compassionate communication and client education
