About The Position
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Physician for a full-time permanent opportunity with a growing urgent care organization in Troy, AL. This position offers a flexible 3-day work week, strong compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to practice independently in a fast-paced urgent care setting with strong clinical support.
Requirements
- Medical License in Alabama
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
- Will consider Family and General Surgery experience
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Patient-centered approach to care
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions
- Perform urgent care procedures including: Laceration repair, Abscess drainage, Splinting, Wound care, DOT physicals
- Order, interpret, and review: In-house laboratory testing, Imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Collaborate with clinic support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality outcome
