About The Position

Prisma Health Urgent Care is hiring a fully remote physician to provide clinical oversight, consultation, and support to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The role includes fulfilling the oversight, documentation, clinical review, delegation, and other responsibilities associated with that assignment, consistent with applicable laws and regulations, organizational policies, clinical standards, and operational needs. Prisma Health Urgent Care uses a team-based physician coverage model. Depending on operational needs, the physician may serve as the Supervising Physician for assigned centers on certain days and support APPs at those centers or, when needed, nearby centers. Daily coverage responsibilities are separate from formal Medical Board supervising or collaborating physician assignments and may not correspond to the APPs assigned through an individual agreement.
