About The Position

Prisma Health Urgent Care is hiring a remote physician to provide clinical oversight, consultation, and support to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), consistent with applicable laws and regulations, organizational policies, clinical standards, and operational needs. The physician will be formally assigned a South Carolina Medical Board supervising or collaborating physician relationship and will fulfill the associated oversight, documentation, clinical review, delegation, and related responsibilities. Depending on operational needs, the physician may serve as the Supervising Physician for assigned centers on certain days, supporting APPs at those centers and, when needed, at nearby centers. Daily coverage responsibilities are separate from formal Medical Board supervising or collaborating physician assignments and may not correspond to the APPs assigned under an individual agreement.
