About The Position

UM Urgent Care providers serve as clinical leaders in our centers, delivering exceptional medical care, fostering outstanding patient experiences, and working collaboratively in a close-knit team environment with medical assistants and radiologic technologists. We care for patients ages one and older, treating a wide range of conditions including upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work-related injuries, and preoperative evaluations.

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in good standing with the state of Maryland, or have licensure pending approval.
• Active NPI number, DEA registration, and CDS license are required, or the candidate must be in the process of obtaining them.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical leaders in urgent care centers.
• Deliver exceptional medical care.

• Work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment with medical assistants and radiologic technologists.
• Care for patients ages one and older.
• Treat a wide range of conditions including upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work-related injuries, and preoperative evaluations.
• Provide 12-hour clinical shifts.
• Give at least 2 days of availability each month, with two of those days being weekends.
• Provide one day of availability each month to be the 'emergency on call' provider for all facilities.
