About The Position

UM Urgent Care providers serve as clinical leaders in our centers, delivering exceptional medical care, fostering outstanding patient experiences, and working collaboratively in a close-knit team environment with medical assistants and radiologic technologists. We care for patients ages one and older, treating a wide range of conditions including upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work-related injuries, and preoperative evaluations. Providers work 12-hour clinical shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.). Urgent care is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that offers a broad spectrum of patient presentations, ranging from acute illness to minor injuries. PRN providers are required to give at least 2 days of availability each month, with two of those days being weekends. All PRN providers must also give one day of availability each month to be the 'emergency on call' provider for all of our facilities.
