About The Position

Requirements

Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (RN or LPN) OR Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology
Experience in Utilization Management preferred
Current CPR or BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
Able to work independently and collegially with all clinical disciplines

Responsibilities

Obtains admission information from Intake Office and Insurance Verification/Benefits information from the Business Office.
Reviews chart and conduct concurrent reviews with third party payors
Communicates results of reviews to treatment team.
Serves as liaison to on-site external reviews.
