About The Position

The Uptime Coordinator is responsible for managing first-touch support for downed equipment and drivers, coordinating repairs, and processing maintenance invoices within the transportation management system. This role plays a critical part in minimizing equipment downtime by partnering with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective repair solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, can prioritize multiple urgent needs, and provides excellent customer service while making sound, informed decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Transportation, logistics, supply chain, or maintenance coordination experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, high-quality customer service to drivers.
  • Coordinate emergency breakdowns and roadside repairs with drivers and maintenance vendors.
  • Communicate with vendors to facilitate timely and cost-effective equipment repairs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Equipment Managers and Operations regarding equipment issues and repair status.
  • Process, review, and approve repair invoices.
  • Enter repair invoices into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Review repair estimates and assist in determining appropriate repair direction.
  • Monitor and follow up on downed equipment to ensure resolution.
  • Support Equipment Managers with preventative maintenance and asset management as needed.
  • Coordinate the handoff of long-term maintenance issues to the appropriate Equipment Manager.
