Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 8 years in cross-functional leadership roles.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in sales, operations, engineering, or technical support.
  • Experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Financial acumen with previous responsibility for financial success of a business or project.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills resulting in business growth.
  • Ability to plan, document, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills with familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and Agile Project Management methodology.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving results.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Proven success working within highly regulated environments (nuclear, medical, food, etc.)
  • Must be able to travel for customer & supplier visits (domestic and international; up to 40% annually).
  • Must be a results-oriented self-starter with excellent leadership and relationship skills.
  • Ability to develop, learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and programs as needed

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive long-term planning and strategy for Downhole and Radiation Monitoring verticals.
  • Lead product line annual planning driving accountability across functional and business areas.
  • Leading opportunity strategy and capture planning, including win themes, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, and risk mitigation; supporting proposal development and leading commercial negotiations.
  • Cultivating executive-level and working-level customer relationships across all levels of the customer organization; developing strategic partnerships to enable full-scope project solutions.
  • Acting as the voice of the customer, proactively identifying emerging needs, influencing product roadmaps, and collaborating with customers on specifications.
  • Optimize and integrate processes meeting both internal and external needs.
  • Identify, develop and present strategies and business cases, technical roadmaps, risks and associated risk mitigation plans to senior leaders across the business with plans being developed collaboratively across the product line.
  • Work with our project management, operations, and engineering teams to ensure expectations are being met.
  • Working with the commercial team and key technology experts, develop long-term customer relationships both domestic and international.
  • Collaborate with sales & commercial, and marketing teams to gather market research, the voice of the customer, and competitor intelligence to grow the sub-product line.
  • Comply with all safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
  • Proactively identifies appropriate segmenting, targeting, and positioning of product/service in the competitive landscape.
  • Works with Supply Chain to identify and create supply strategies and cost targets.
  • Leads the NPI planning phase and delivers commercial success in coordination with commercial, operations, and technology stakeholders; this includes leading proposal development efforts from creating basis of estimates through pricing and senior leadership reviews.
  • Participates in Stage Gate product and technology development teams, including documentation as required for gate meetings.
  • Represents the organization in outside discussions, customers, and technical forums.
