About The Position

The UPS Ground Service Agent organizes warehouse and storage facilities, arranges warehouse handling equipment, and loads and unloads air cargo. The role follows required safety and quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, and Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations. The agent is responsible for proper cargo handling and delivery, operating related equipment, and meeting attendance requirements. Full-time and part-time shifts are available. Operations hours include an AM shift from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (weekdays, with no Monday morning operation; Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.) and a PM shift from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The stated pay rate is $18.95 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical labor over several hours, including repetitive lifting of items up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver truck and aircraft containers.
• Pull empty and loaded rolling equipment across the warehouse floor.
• Load and unload mail from rolling equipment and floor-level containers.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Ensure paperwork related to cargo is correct.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operate related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations.
• Comply with dnata Logistics Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
• Meet attendance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
