About The Position

dnata is hiring a Ground Service Agent at Boston Logan International Airport. The role supports safe, timely, and efficient flight operations and offers cross-training in related airport functions. Agents guide aircraft to and from gates; handle passenger bags and cargo; operate ground support equipment; and coordinate with ground personnel, flight crews, and other departments. The position involves working outdoors around active aircraft and machinery in all types of weather, with substantial physical activity. With experience and cross-training, agents may have opportunities to advance to Lead Agent, Trainer, or Operations Supervisor roles, or pursue opportunities in dnata’s cargo, passenger service, or flight operations divisions.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain FAA- or airport-required authorizations.
• Ability to pass SIDA airport clearance and all required training tests.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems and equipment.
• Reliability, teamwork, and willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from gates.
• Lift, load, unload, and transport passenger bags and cargo to and from aircraft, carts, dollies, and conveyors.
• Drive and/or operate ground support equipment, such as tow tractors, belt loaders, and baggage tugs.
• Maintain ramp safety and security by following dnata safety procedures.
• Communicate efficiently with ground personnel and flight crews.
• Collaborate with other departments, including cargo, passenger service, and operations control.
• Follow federal, state, airport, and company regulations and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including cross-training in related functions such as cabin cleaning, cargo handling, or passenger services.
• Stand, lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull for extended periods; regularly handle up to 70 pounds and ascend and descend jetway stairs while carrying baggage.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather and around active aircraft and machinery.
