About The Position

Chase Staffing is hiring for an Upright & Roll Forming Machine Operator in the Adairsville, GA area. This role involves operating and maintaining upright roll forming lines and press equipment to cut, shape, and form metal components to precise specifications. The operator will ensure high-quality production by interpreting blueprints, monitoring machine performance, and performing detailed inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (vocational training preferred)
  • Experience with roll forming lines, stamping presses, or similar manufacturing equipment
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of measuring tools and quality inspection processes
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Able to work in a team environment and meet production goals
  • Physically capable of lifting, standing, and working in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, adjust, and calibrate roll forming and stamping press equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Monitor production runs to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Input and track production data using computer systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance and assist with equipment troubleshooting and repairs
  • Operate metalworking and forming machines to meet production requirements
  • Handle materials and operate equipment such as trolleys and lifting devices
  • Assemble products and complete final packaging for shipment
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Support inventory control and material tracking
  • Perform welding tasks as authorized
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with maintenance and repair activities
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
  • Ensure proper handling of materials, tools, and non-conforming products
  • Adhere to quality standards, metrology practices, and process controls
  • Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
