The Cold Forming Operator performs work associated with the set up and operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Oversees complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher level staff.
Possess comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment.
Check that items produced pass quality control requirements.
Perform complex troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments or repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
Use required gaging instruments.
Collaborate with team members to increase overall throughput.
Assist Lead/Supervisor as needed.
Consult with management and help with training.
Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring.
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
