About The Position
The Hun School of Princeton seeks dynamic and creative Upper School Substitute Teachers who have immediate availability to provide emergency support covering a classroom creating an encouraging learning environment for students while their regular teacher is absent, effectively managing and instructing the class.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree
- Flexible availability

- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with students, faculty, and staff
- Personal qualities including resilience, approachability, and kindness
- Excellent technology skills
Nice To Haves
- Some teaching experience is preferred, but other relevant experience will certainly be considered
Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
- Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
Benefits
- Daily sub rate: $125/day
