At the Merle-Smith Campus, you'll coach 10–14 upper school students per week. These students include learners with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences, as well as gifted students and high-achievers navigating the demands of a rigorous college-preparatory environment. Through personalized 45-minute sessions, you'll help them build the executive functioning skills, self-monitoring habits, and metacognitive confidence that last well beyond graduation. This role focuses on transformation rather than remediation. You will work alongside teachers, partner with families, and serve on the Student Support Team to ensure every learner has a strategy that works for them. Your work will involve helping students plan their week, decode dense reading passages, and build confidence in their ability to succeed, ultimately shaping graduates. The ideal candidate brings both expertise and empathy, understanding the neuroscience of learning differences and knowing how to build genuine trust with teenagers who have struggled. The role requires someone who is organized, collaborative, and committed to the professional growth of colleagues.
