The position involves working with various materials such as fabric, vinyl, leather hides, and composites, using specified adhesives, sewing equipment, hardware, hand tools, and various power tools. Responsibilities include cutting and surging carpets, covering bulkheads, and installing panels. There may also be responsibilities for fabricating metal parts, fitting panels, windows, cabin headliners, upper sidewalls, lower side panels, hatch panels, and windows. The role requires using the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off work. Additionally, the position involves working with lead and higher-skilled technicians to implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing techniques, complying with safety and housekeeping policies, and addressing unsafe conditions.
