Upholstery Technician

As an Upholstery Technician, you will be responsible for learning and performing frame assembly and upholstery for furniture products for the hospitality and retail industries, as well as learning how to create highly engineered subcomponents built of foam for aerospace upholstery products. Individuals in this position are comfortable using hand tools, able to read and comprehend production notes, and able to follow directions to maintain our high-quality standards. Upholstery Technicians who thrive in this work environment are systematic thinkers, quick learners, and love to work with their hands.

Responsibilities
- Improve your processes and yourself each day.
- Operate within a team atmosphere to complete a product.
- Utilize different types of saws - band saw, table saw, panel saw.
- Utilize different types of pneumatic fasteners to assemble finished frames- staple guns, spring clip guns.
- Stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently.
- Adhere materials to finished frames, such as textile and foam.
- Inspect final product for defects prior to shipment.
- Learn and do continuous improvement activities.
