Requirements

  • Ability to read labels, short codes, and product identifiers, match them correctly to units.
  • Ability to physically lift ~50 lbs regularly and perform tasks above shoulder height and below the waist.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods, walking, possibly working on concrete surfaces, and doing repetitive tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills; pay attention to detail and follow safety guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace and adherence to production/quality standards (for example, quality audits may be part of the job).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read labels of windows. Sort and organize windows accordingly.
  • Follow safety guidelines.
  • Able to use pallet jack.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Reading labels on manufactured windows (or window units) and sorting/organizing them accordingly.
  • Using pallet jacks (and possibly other material‐handling equipment) to move product and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Lifting and moving windows or glass units (often up to about 50 lbs) on a continual basis, above shoulder height and below the waist.
  • Identifying product by codes or descriptions (for example reading short codes for glass types or sash units) and ensuring correct placement of units.
  • Working in a fast‐paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment where repetitive tasks and attention to detail are essential.
