About The Position

Clear Lakes Dental is seeking enthusiastic and passionate team members for a full-time Unlicensed Dental Assistant position. No license is required, and no prior experience is needed as the company provides 100% paid training. This role involves assisting dentists and hygienists with patient treatments, preparing patients and rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Performs job functions under the supervision of a licensed provider.
Reviews patient charts and prepares instruments and equipment.
Retrieves and records patient vital signs.
Performs procedures such as pouring stone models and preparing cases for the lab.
Records treatment information, documents notes, and charts individualized treatment plans.
Provides dental chair assistance during procedures, operating suction, disinfecting the operative area, and supplying instruments and materials.
Sterilizes operatory rooms between patients and prepares the operatory.
Cleans and maintains equipment and work area.
Assists with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays, preparing materials, and assisting in dental procedures.
Applies topical medications as prescribed by a dentist.
Provides post-operative care instructions as directed by the dentist/provider.
Records patient's preferred choice of pharmacy.
Ensures carts and cabinets are stocked daily.
Assists in completing daily/weekly/monthly checklists with other Dental Assistants.
Performs related work as required after appropriate training.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
