About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Unlicensed Clinical Dental Assistant to join the team in Fairmont, Minnesota. The position welcomes applicants with prior dental office experience as well as those looking to start a career in the field. The role involves preparing patients and clinical spaces, assisting dentists during treatments, sterilizing instruments, and supporting accurate patient documentation. The posting describes this as a possible part-time opportunity of 18–28 hours, with clinic needs on Monday, Tuesday (between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.), or Friday (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
Nice To Haves
- Dental office experience is preferred but not required.
- Spanish speaking is preferred at some locations.
Responsibilities
- Greet, seat, and prepare patients for clinical procedures.
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists as needed during treatments.
- Set up and clean up operatories, ensuring proper disinfection and waste management.
- Clean, package, and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Assist with documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
