About The Position

The University Program Specialist for Asia, Eastern Europe, Eurasia, and Latin America will report to the INSITE Chair and provide high-level administrative coordination in support of globally focused academic initiatives within INSITE. The position will manage event logistics, serve as the primary liaison to CASBO, maintain detailed tracking of funding opportunities, financial activity, and other program resources. This role has significant budget input through developing, monitoring and evaluating program budgets. Responsibilities also include managing the logistics and processes for visiting scholar appointments, student services (marketing and communications outreach) and coordinate with global university and UNC campus partners to ensure the smooth delivery of cross-disciplinary, trans-regional activities and academic degree programs. The role requires strong independence, administrative judgment, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through, as well as the ability to build effective relationships across international campus infrastructures and partners. Position requires advanced proficiency with university systems. In addition, the position supports the broader operational needs of INSITE, including high-volume transactional processing and coordination of a substantial annual portfolio of events and programs.
