Requirements

• Must be enrolled or in process of enrolling at Augsburg University
• Must have work-study as part of financial aid award
• Previous experience working with events (i.e. have worked in a hotel, restaurant or event center before)
• Interest in Audio/Visual work or event management as a career
• Knowledge of and comfort setting up audio-visual is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Self-motivated, team-minded individual
• Ability to work some nights and/or weekends
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Candidates must have work-study as part of their financial aid award for next school year.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in pursuing event management as a career
• Base knowledge of audio visual skills or the ability to pick them up quickly

Responsibilities

• Equipment setup for events and conferences
• Event/Classroom facility monitoring and upkeep
• General event support
• Assistance with office duties (Scheduling spaces, filing etc.)
• Audio and visual technical support
• Computer technical support
• Assistance with light cleaning of spaces between camps and conferences
