About The Position

The Universal Teller - Member Relationship Specialist performs cashiering functions and provides administrative support as needed. The role serves credit union members by handling transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, providing information about credit union services, and participating in needs-based sales. It also processes loan applications from start to finish, including signing and funding approved loans and communicating denied loan decisions. Requirements

High school diploma; work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience using PCs, calculators, and other office equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Detail oriented.

Associate degree in Business or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Open new accounts, complete computer file maintenance, and ensure membership cards are properly completed and signed.
Handle monetary transactions and retain appropriate documents for permanent records.
Provide routine information concerning the credit union and its services.
Balance the cash drawer daily and show a breakdown of the remaining cash.
Handle money orders and bank checks.
Process night depository transactions.
Handle the balancing of ATM(s).
Participate actively in the needs-based sales program by offering products and services to members.
Process loan applications from start to finish, including signing and funding approved loans and communicating denied loan decisions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
