About The Position

The Learning Experience is hiring an experienced Universal Pre-K Teacher to create a fun, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. The teacher uses the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® and provided classroom resources to deliver hands-on lessons and activities, support children's development, and build meaningful relationships with children and families. The role is based in Kings Park, New York, pays $25–$30 per hour, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The position requires active supervision and participation in classroom and outdoor activities. Requirements

NYS Certified Teacher.
Minimum bachelor's degree.
Previous experience in a preschool, childcare, daycare, or early childhood classroom.
Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, CDA, credential, or relevant coursework or experience consistent with New York requirements.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for helping young children learn and develop.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Must meet applicable background screening, health, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate preschool classroom.
Deliver the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® through hands-on lessons and activities.
Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
Create a positive classroom environment where every child feels welcomed and supported.
Observe children's development and communicate progress with families.
Maintain classroom routines, learning materials, and required documentation.
Partner with fellow teachers and center leadership to create an exceptional family experience.
Follow New York childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
Actively supervise young children and participate in classroom and outdoor activities.
