About The Position

Jolt Credit Union is hiring a part-time Universal Member Service Representative at its Saginaw, Michigan location. The position works 24–28 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, including some Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The representative serves as a face of Jolt Credit Union, greeting members, assisting with financial transactions, and recommending banking and lending options that support members’ financial well-being. The role emphasizes accurate, friendly service in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. The employee also has opportunities to earn referral-based incentives and pursue growth through continuous in-house education and opportunities to advance with increased pay.

Requirements

Prior customer service experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Confidence, patience, and a positive attitude.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet during shifts.
Passion for helping others and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Deliver service to members and coworkers in alignment with the Service Promise: “Giving it All We've Got, Every Day and Everywhere.”
Promote and recommend credit union products.
Verify cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of the day.
Process deposits, loan payments, VISA payments, and other payments.
Disburse account withdrawals and cash checks.
Process teller transactions related to accounts, credit cards, loans, and other services.
Issue cashier’s checks.
Cash U.S. Savings Bonds.
Respond to member inquiries, including questions about interest rates and account balances.
Assist with balancing the branch, vault, and ATM.
Help protect the credit union from fraud.
