About The Position
The Universal Experience Representative (UER) is a customer service role focused on helping members with everyday banking needs, including opening accounts, handling transactions, and providing financial education in person or virtually. UERs build strong relationships, act as trusted advisors, and recommend solutions that save members time and money. The position offers a growth path from entry-level work toward advanced levels, including certified financial counselor and team leader. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a commitment to exceptional service while following policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of financial institution experience, or three years of customer service experience for each year of financial institution experience required.
Responsibilities
- Help members with everyday banking needs, including opening accounts and handling transactions, in person or virtually.
- Provide financial education to members.
- Build strong member relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
