About The Position
Skaalen Heights is looking for a compassionate and dependable Universal Caregiver to join their team on a full-time day shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM). This role is within a 33-apartment assisted living community that offers a calm, welcoming environment. The Universal Caregiver will provide personalized care and work alongside a supportive team.
Requirements
- Caring, dependable, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus—but not required. We'll train the right person!
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Passing medications safely (training provided if needed)
- Serving meals and assisting during dining
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Responding to resident needs throughout the shift
- Building meaningful relationships with residents and families
- Working closely with nurses and the care team to provide exceptional care
