About The Position
The Universal Banker is an entry-level position that assists with sales, product, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role focuses on fostering customer relationships, building loyalty, and helping increase sales to individual consumer clients. The position is based at the Weston Town Center Branch in Weston, Florida. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is preferred. The position requires relevant retail banking or similar experience and clear, concise written and verbal communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist with basic account opening for existing customers.
- Provide service to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues.
- Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
- Refer appropriate opportunities to segment partners.
- Create sales opportunities during service transactions and promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Support branch sales and service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives.
- Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to protect customer and bank assets.
- Assess risk in business decisions, safeguard the firm's reputation and the assets of Citi and its clients, comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies, exercise sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
