About The Position
The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with sales, product, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role aims to foster customer relationships and loyalty while helping increase sales to individual consumer clients. This is a part-time position listed as 20 hours, at the Sunset Harbour Branch in Miami Beach, Florida. The posted hourly rate is $20.00–$25.87; the annual full-time salary range is $41,600.00–$53,830.00 and is prorated for part-time hires based on hours worked. Bilingual English/Spanish ability is preferred.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Previous retail banking or similar experience is required.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Assist with basic account opening for existing customers.
- Provide service delivery to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues.
- Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
- Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
- Create sales opportunities from service transactions and promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Support branch sales and service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives.
- Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to protect customer and bank assets.
- Assess risk in business decisions, safeguard the firm's reputation and assets, comply with applicable laws and policies, apply sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
