About The Position

The Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional customer interactions while efficiently and accurately handling both teller and personal banker transactions. The role requires accurate knowledge of the bank’s products and services and a commitment to high-quality customer service. The Universal Banker identifies customers’ financial needs and offers relevant product and service solutions, helping grow bank deposits through an exceptional branch experience.

The position builds long-term customer relationships by understanding the customer base and proactively identifying individual financial goals. The employee maintains a positive service mentality while balancing customer needs with organizational resources. The employee is expected to support the bank’s strategic goals, vision, mission, core values, service standards, and service philosophy through their actions and conduct.

Requirements

• High school graduate, or equivalent work and skill experience.
• A comprehensive knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
• Willingness to serve.
• Ability to function efficiently in a network environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• General business-level math skills and general accounting knowledge, including debits, credits, and bank account reconciliations.
• Ability to project a professional image and adhere to employee handbook guidelines.
• General understanding of the Federal Reserve Banking System.
• Ability to collect, research, and analyze information skillfully.
• Self-starter with creativity, flexibility, eagerness, and openness to change, and good judgment.
• Ability to lead by example, attend to detail, work well with others, and respond to supervisory guidance.
• Completed employment application and satisfactory background check and drug-screening results are conditions of employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of banking, customer service, and/or sales experience preferred.
