The Universal Banker position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies. This role delivers superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The Universal Banker is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This role ensures a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, facilitating courteous conversation, and conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs. Additionally, the Universal Banker educates clients on digital, self-service solutions, supports the team sales process through client outreach, and understands the importance of IRM to seamlessly deliver expertise and solutions. The role requires full participation in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and a commitment to advancing individual and product knowledge through training. Adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies is crucial. The Universal Banker serves as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
