Universal Banker (30-35 hours per week)
About The Position
Sunflower Bank, N.A. is hiring a Universal Banker at its Monte Vista, Colorado branch. This role combines teller duties, personal banking, and customer service. Universal Bankers provide retail banking products and services, process customer transactions and requests, and develop new business opportunities with current and prospective customers. The position emphasizes exceptional service, attention to detail, and computer skills. Banking experience is a plus but is not required; training is provided. The position is full-time and works 30–35 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $16.50–$19.00 depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location. The role may involve extended periods sitting or standing, operating computers or other equipment, reaching, and regular walking. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing may be required, as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. The position requires specified close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Essential job functions must be performable with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform full-service banking, primarily focused on service and sales for new and existing branch customers.
- Perform teller duties, including cash transactions, opening or updating accounts, and providing information about products and services.
- Address customer needs and enhance the customer experience by phone and during branch visits.
- Meet or exceed sales and referral goals and individual and branch targets.
- Inform customers about promotions, contests, and new account options.
- Process customer transactions and requests and develop business opportunities with current and prospective customers.
