About The Position

The Universal Banker works directly with customers to meet their needs and support products and services across the bank’s retail and commercial lines of business. The role requires projecting a professional and welcoming image while maintaining operational control and delivering excellent customer service. The position is part-time and located in Maplewood, Missouri.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months to one year of cash-handling experience.
• Usually two years of sales or service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, high-quality customer service while conducting financial transactions, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, selling monetary instruments, and maintaining account records.
• Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
• Monitor account transactions for suspicious activity and assist with balancing.
• Provide customer service and problem-solving support across teller operations.
• Sell retail deposit products and banking services to customers and prospective customers.
• Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and cross-sell bank services.
• Follow bank policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
