About The Position

The Universal Banker opens new accounts, maintains existing accounts, cross-sells bank products and services, and provides quality customer service to further customer relations. The position performs teller transactions, assists customers with account and product inquiries, researches and resolves account issues, and administers IRAs. It may also accept customer paperwork for loan products when properly NMLS licensed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Interpersonal skills to represent Servbank in a positive way.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 1–3 years of banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers.
• Perform daily teller tasks, including accepting deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, and handling other monetary transactions.
• Open and process personal and commercial checking accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and HSAs.
• Discover each customer's financial needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Cross-sell the bank's services and products.
• Research and answer customer inquiries and quote products and rates.
• Research and verify account information and resolve customer problems as necessary.
• Administer IRAs for the institution.
• Accept customer paperwork for loan products when properly NMLS licensed.
