About The Position

The Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts) role involves providing timely and courteous customer service, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and assessing customer financial needs to suggest appropriate bank services and products. This role actively participates in the bank's sales culture and referral programs. Key responsibilities include maintaining daily transactions, balancing the drawer, researching outages, and adhering to banking regulations. This position also involves opening and maintaining deposit accounts for consumers and businesses, and completing necessary account maintenance. The role averages approximately 38-40 hours per week and includes some Saturday mornings. Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn position-related systems and software.
  • Ability to effectively use general office equipment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing customer and branch needs.
  • Must be able to travel between office locations to provide staffing coverage.

Nice To Haves

  • One year customer service and cash handling experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.

  • Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations.
  • Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
  • Constructively interact with co-workers.
  • Process transactions and handle cash, vault, ATM responsibilities.
  • Open and maintain deposit accounts for consumers and businesses.
  • Complete all necessary maintenance on customer accounts.
