About The Position
Now Hiring: Part Time Unit Tech/Clerk (Days) at Grand Haven Hospital – Grand Haven, MI. This role offers 24 hours/week on the Day Shift (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM). The position involves providing hands-on support to patients, accurately measuring and recording vital signs and intake, collecting and handling specimens, and assisting with specialty procedures like wound care, EKGs, and splinting. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- Certified Nurse Aide (CENA) in Michigan OR Completed college-level Anatomy & Physiology course OR Enrolled in an accredited nursing program with fundamentals completed (proof required annually) OR EMT, Medical Assistant, or LPN certification OR Equivalent experience or training
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to patients in a dynamic care environment
- Accurately measure and record vital signs and intake
- Collect and handle specimens (urine, sputum, stool)
- Assist with specialty procedures like wound care, EKGs, and splinting
