About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager, this role provides support for patients, visitors, and colleagues on assigned nursing units. The Unit Clerk facilitates efficient patient throughput, including admissions, discharges, and transfers. They support patient experience and culture of safety goals through equipment maintenance, unit supplies, unit appearance, and overall environment of care. This role also provides reception-type services to patients, families, visitors, and other unit guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three to six months previous related experience
