About The Position

This position has a core schedule of: Week 1: Mon-Fri 2:30p-11p Week 2: Monday, Wednesday-Friday 2:30p-11p Week 3: Tues-Thurs 2:30p-11p and Saturday 6:30a-7p Week 4: Sunday 6:30a-7p, Monday, Tuesday, Friday 2:30p-11p. About this unit 3E/G is a unique team structure at Blodgett Hospital composed of two separate units but one team. 3E is a 24 bed Med/Surg unit with some Medical Orthopedic patients while 3G is a 22 bed Orthopedic unit primarily serving Total Joint Replacement Patients. Our team works on both units, providing a variety of patient population experience including Total Joint Replacement, Hip Fracture, Osteomyelitis, and other medical patients. Those working on the 3EG team are part of an exceptional Joint Replacement program that is one of the largest and best in the nation, serving on average 2,800 patients per year. The program has received and maintained Joint Replacement Disease Specific Certification from the Joint Commission as a testament to our teams’ dedication to provide high-quality care. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• 2 Years of relevant experience Required

Responsibilities

• Performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains confidential records, supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards.
• Greets and directs guests on the unit in a manner that reflects a welcoming environment.
• Performs computer entry, schedules tests/procedures, processes orders, and performs other related activities per unit/hospital standard within a reasonable time frame.
