FTE: 0.01 Shift: Per Diem Schedule: Variable shifts. Position Summary The Unit Resource Assistant is an ideal opportunity in supporting department-wide comprehensive patient health care. Working in collaboration with the nursing staff, you will be engaged in a dynamic range of work responsibilities and functions, ensuring the efficient management of the unit and the best possible health care outcomes.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Recent experience in a health care environment
- Certification as a nurse assistant preferred
Responsibilities
- You will support the units with proper setup, standardized equipment and supplies
- You will thoroughly clean, maintain, and store all equipment
- You will apply discretion, good judgment, and a professional manner to all work experiences
- You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
- You will transport specimens to the lab and retrieve blood products from Transfusion Services
