About The Position

The Unit Manager (RN) assists with the overall management of the nursing department. The role supports planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining resident discharge procedures; reviews nursing-care charts and documentation for accuracy; and collaborates with leadership to maintain clinical excellence and regulatory compliance. The Unit Manager helps promote a positive, supportive environment for residents and staff. The position is based at The Timbers of Cass County in Dowagiac, Michigan.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 3 years of long-term care experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and dependable attendance.
• A genuine passion for improving the lives of residents.

Responsibilities
